CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Davern has over 30 camp buildings on site. We are rustic traditional, however offer comfortable living in cabins. Our dining hall is on of our original buildings on site and was built in the 1940's.
There is a terrific sense of history on our beautiful site.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (CIT) (AGES 15-16)
The CIT program is a four-week adventure that focuses on the hard skills of the camp experience. As candidates work to achieve certifications in swimming (Bronze Med and Cross) sailing (OSA), canoeing (ORCA), they also take part in some of the elective options available to all campers. A highlight of the month program is the 7 night Algonquin Out-trip that is both challenging for the kids and memorable. The program strives to encourage each candidate to shine, building character, self esteem, patience and empathy.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Family Camp is a terrific opportunity for parents and kids to experience our summer programs together. Ideal for kids and adults of all ages, Camp Davern’s family camp weekends provide you with an opportunity to play as a family, or divide into the age specific programming options that offered throughout the day.

Rate: $450 for a family of up to 5

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Camp Davern is an overnight summer camp that currently shuts down in the winter months.

CAMP FACILITIES: We house clients in the condos on the upper floors, and provide counseling / fitness training in our dedicated facilities on the lower floors. There is a salt water pool on site, and we are directly across the street from the Gulf Coast Beach.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our team specializes in helping clients lose weight and keep it off. Our trainers are certified, the food is delicious, the activities are adventurous and the exercise routines are constantly changing to keep things interesting. And our Christian bible-based counseling sessions will help you overcome the factors that caused you to need our expertise in the first place!

The Leadership Through Fun Camp is based on the best results of the original Leadership-in-Action© Program that was developed and tested by DiscoveryLand Camp for 15 years. It’s focused on the development of two important skills – Leadership combined with Creativity – and results in a strong mix of summer fun and character-building!

CAMP FACILITIES: We have wood style cabins with electricity and washrooms. we have a beautiful dining reflecting 78 years of camp history, outdoor and indoor amphitheatre and a, roller rink, basketball court, large ballfield and the most gorgeous lake that surrounds our camp

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: For 78 years Tamakwa has been providing campers (from Toronto, Montreal, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Mexico and all over the world) a chance to develop important life skills, build self confidence, foster lifelong friendships, embrace traditional camping values and return home with an enriched outlook, that there is life and fun without facebook, Wii and YouTube!

CAMP FACILITIES: Our club is split into two main areas, the school age room and the dojo. The school age room is where the campers spend their free time and eat lunch. Our school age room has books, board games, cards, craft area and air hockey. The dojo (gym) is where the campers take their martial arts classes. We are located minutes from many local parks and splash pads that we visit daily (weather permitting)!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: At BMA, we use the Virtues Project to help develop strong, well-rounded children. We have great power to shape our children's character in the way we speak to and about them. Using Virtues Language to acknowledge them and correct them tells them they are good people capable of giving their best. We need to treat our children as champions in the making.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Students who consistently demonstrate our virtues (such as dedication, commitment, reliability, focus etc.), and have advanced to an intermediate belt rank, can begin to explore our Leadership Program. Our Leadership Program provides an opportunity for students to become more comfortable with talking in front of a group, leading a group, and sharing their martial arts knowledge and skills with lower ranked students.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Brown's Martial Arts offers a variety of year-round programs for students 3+, including before and after school care, evening programs, camps (P.A. Day, Summer Camp, March Break), and Parent's Nigh Out (Movie Night).

Our evening programs include Lil Dragons (ages 3-5), Kids classes (ages 6-12), Adults Karate (13+), and Kickboxing.

We are currently offering a two-week trial including a FREE uniform for only $19.95. Memberships are bi-weekly payments, with no contract!

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers live in small cabin groups formed mainly by age, rather than program choice. A fully-trained, mature adult counsellor (minimum age 19 years) lives in each cabin with the campers, observes the same bedtime as the cabin group and provides strong leadership and supervision. Each camper cabin has its own private area with centralized washrooms and shower facilities just a short distance from the cabin. Cabins are both comfortable and rustic to create a warm, safe and encouraging environment.

Our modern, top quality facilities include numerous activity areas designed for use by all campers. At the centre of camp stands our incredibly unique state-of the-art 9000 square foot open-sided Gymnastics and Trampoline Centre, our Dining Hall, Arts & Crafts building, Program Office, Campfire Circle and Tuck Shop. Spread-out along our wood-chipped paths are two Giant Water Slides, a very special double-face Climbing Wall, a genuine European Sauna and a safe sandy beach in our main swimming area. A Basket Ball Court, Archery Zone, Low Ropes Challenge Course and Tarzan Swing are just a small part of our beautiful island facility.

Canadian Adventure Camp has been focusing on the growth and development of children since 1975. Privately owned and directed, our goal every summer is to expand the skills and knowledge of every camper.

We feature an incredible line- up of over 35 camp activities in our Traditional General Camping Program. Children can also choose to specialize if they wish, in the Trampoline, Gymnastics or Wakeboarding & Water Skiing Programs. CAMP FACILITIES: At Wabikon, campers live in large wooden cabins which sleep 8 to 10 campers and 2 staff members. The camp is divided into sections with the girls' cabins on one side of camp and the boys' cabins on the other. Cabins for our younger campers are located near the centre of camp, very close to shower and washroom facilities as well the large Dining and Recreation Hall and the Medical Lodge. Each section has washroom facilities close by which are equipped with electricity, individual shower stalls and flush toilets.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Wabikon is dedicated to the traditional ideals of personal development, friendship and cooperation. It is the strong belief of the Bernardo family that the camp's cooperative philosophy can best be achieved by limiting the number of campers per session to create a smaller, more intimate environment where each camper can feel like a valued member of the Wabikon family. In addition to Wabikon's full range of daily activities, our program also includes various dramatic and theme based programs mixed in throughout the session. These programs may be afternoon, evening or all day programs and organized as cabin, section or all-camp events. They are a great way to break up the daily routine with some creative, age-appropriate fun and provide an excellent opportunity for teamwork and team play.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS:
Each summer, 16/17 year-old youth from around the world travel to Temagami for Camp Wabikon's excellent Counsellor-in-Training, or 'C.I.T.' Leadership program. The six week program is carefully planned and designed to lead its participants through an educational, challenging, exciting and fun adventure that will help them bridge the gap from Camper to Staff and help prepare them for their future, both within and outside of the camping world.
